Case Management

At SOS Recovery, each client receives individual case management and a case manager in addition to a therapist and personal trainer.  The case manager coordinates the client’s care and activities while at Sea Of Sharks and case management can also extend beyond a client’s stay at SOS Recovery.  Sessions consist of goal setting, planning for the future, dealing with law practice or career issues, and personal development. In addition, each client is asked to discuss suggested changes to the program, family involvement, relapse prevention, and satisfaction with the SOS Recovery program.

Depending on each client’s individual needs, case management does not necessarily end at the end of treatment.  SOS Recovery will continue to monitor progress of each client for one (1) year, to assist with bar association monitoring (if necessary), and to help the client hold himself or herself accountable to the goals set in treatment and after-care.  The process of recovery is an adventure and case management allows the client to have a virtual recovery coach online or telephone conferencing.  Case management keeps SOS Recovery alumni connected to their after-care plan and case management team.   Each client receives an after-care plan that can include scheduled check-ins with the assigned case manager, random drug tests, daily text and/or email check-ins along with alumni services programming.
